Mineral badges for keeping a plan. Nothing is earned by going longer.
A layer is earned by ending a planned fast within two hours of its target, and not more than fifteen minutes early. Same disc, same engraved number; only the material changes.
In the app the screen opens on the card for the layer you are working towards, the next material at that length and how many kept plans it needs, with the families grouped beneath it, each in its own tone. When one is earned, Today shows a full-screen unlock: the disc materialises on paper tinted in the family's tone, a line says how it was earned, and one button, Done, closes it. It never appears in Quiet Mode.
Clay
Matte. The first kept plan.
Stone
Satin, brushed. The third.
Glass
Refraction. The tenth.
Ten layers, 12 h to 120 h
Dusk 12, Slate 16, Basalt 18, Obsidian 20, Circadian 24, Monolith 36, Bedrock 48, Deep Time 72, Aquifer 96, Lode 120. All ten layers are part of Pro; Aquifer and Lode are reached only on the supervised plans, and layers of 36 hours and above are hidden in Gentle Mode.
The First family, free for everyone
The only badges on the free plan. First Fast, however it ended. First Window Kept. First Refeed Logged, from the refeed meals you log. First Rest Week Taken, declared from the log on the History tab, because a rest week is part of the plan. Good Listener, for ending early on purpose and saying why.
A rhythm strip, not a counter
Two grace days a rolling week, so a day off changes nothing. There is no run of days to protect.
Five families for keeping plans and taking care
Part of Pro, like the layers. Each one looks at a window of recent fasts or at care you took; none counts consecutive days, and none is earned by going longer. Their discs, headers and count lines are dusk in the app, as the layers are sand and the Firsts tide.
- Rhythm
- Lamina, for keeping five of the last seven planned windows. Rhythmite, for ten of the last twelve. Both look back over a rolling window, rest days left out of the count; a day off moves nothing.
- Range
- Conglomerate, for kept plans at three different lengths, whichever three.
- Care
- Alluvium, for logging a refeed after every extended fast in a month, from the refeed meals you log on the History tab. Hiatus, for taking a rest week.
- Explorer
- Outcrop, for reading all eleven stages and the Sources screen.
- Seasons
- Varve, for a kept plan in four different months, in any order.
